The ASIS (Auroral Spectrograph In Skibotn) instrument is a collaboration between BIRA-IASB (Belgium), IPAG (France), and UiT (Norway). It is an auroral spectrograph installed at the Skibotn observatory in Norway, pointing field-aligned with a circular field-of-view of approximately 4 degrees. It was funded by BIRA-IASB and IPAG. It is hosted at the observatory by UiT which also provides the internet and power.
